Shared visions 3


Purpose
The purpose of 'Shared Visions 3' is to enrich learning environment and teaching methods, improve professional skills of photography, dance and vocal music fields with international study trips, student and teacher exchange and to find new partners in order to create a Nordic-Baltic creativity and partnership network in the field.

Our curricula emphasize the importance of international readiness as a part of professional development. Our intention is to find ways and contacts between creative study programmes and professional artists. Also, our intention is to strengthen cooperation between our current partners, integrate project actions to every partners’ every-day work both for students and teachers as a natural part of it and to further develop reciprocal actions.


Partners
Keski-Pohjanmaan kulttuuriopisto as co-ordinating organisation together with Vilnius Vocational Training Centre for Service Business Specialists in Lithuania, Follo Folkhøgskole in Norway, Kokkolan TalvitanssitVinterdans i Karleby in Finland and Tallinna Polütehnikum in Estonia.






Funding and budget
Shared visions is funded by
Nordplus Adult. Nordplus is the Nordic Council of Ministers' most important programme in the area of lifelong learning. Total budget of the project is 30 050 €. Project period is 1.8.2011 – 31.7.2012.


PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Autumn 2012
Photography contact students and teachers from each partner school to Estonia
- Photo Walk, nature/milieu photography
- Visit to local professional photographer/photo studio
- Ideas and schedule for coming activities

Lithuanian photography students and teacher, Estonian contact students and teacher to Finland
- Photo Walk, nature/milieu photography, preparing Photo Book.
- Lithuanian and Estonian students have an exhibition.
- Visit to local professional photographer/photo studio
- Ideas and schedule for common exhibition in Vilnius
 
Finnish dance and vocal music students and teachers to Norway
- Finnish students take part in lessons/Finnish teachers give lessons.
- Finnish students have a performance.
- Visit to local professional dance/music artist
- Ideas and schedule for performance for Kokkolan Talvitanssit - Vinterdans i Karleby –event.

Spring 2012
Finnish and Estonian photography students and teachers to Lithuania
- Photo Walk, nature/milieu photography.
- Visit to local professional photographer/photo studio
- Finnish, Lithuanian and Estonian students have a common exhibition.
 
Norwegian dance and vocal music students and teachers to Finland
- Norwegian students take part in lessons
- Norwegian teachers give lessons.
- Visit to local professional dance/music artist
- Common performance at Kokkolan TalvitanssitVinterdans i Karleby –event
